Joseph Daniel Brashier, age 72, of Katy, Texas, passed away after a long illness on July 2, 2009.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Ava (Daniel) Brashier, and loving wife of 48 years, Vivian.
He is survived by his son, Roy Brashier; daughters, Diane Brashier Honzell, Brenda Brashier Galvan and her husband, Armando, and Mary Brashier Sucher and her husband, Joe; brothers, Ben Brashier and his wife, Marge, and Bill Brashier and his wife, Johnnie; 10 grandchildren; and one honorary grandson.
Joe was born on February 8, 1937, in Santa Rosa, Texas, the youngest of nine children. He was a business owner and rancher for most of his life and was also a heavy equipment contractor
