Clara Laymiller, 68, who lived 2 ½ miles northeast of town, died at her home May 24, the result of injuries she received one week ago Monday by her clothing catching fire from some grass that she was burning on some marsh land. Funeral was in Rome City Baptist Church Monday. She leaves one daughter, one granddaughter, and several brothers. Democrat 5-29-1902
