Simon F. Urbauer, 81, a resident of Davenport for the last ten years, died Thursday at the Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings. A lifetime Clay County resident, he farmed in the Ong area until his retirement.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Methodist Church of Ong with the Rev. Hugh Houchin officiating
and burial in the Ong Cemetery.
Urbauer is survived by his sons and a daughter; Kenneth and Loren of Edgar, Dale of Shickley, Bill of Portland,
Ore., Lee of Hermiston, Ore., Dean of Lincoln, Lester and Merton of Davenport and Mrs. Emil Kohler of Sutton, 27
grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and his sister, Mrs. Anna Grove of Sutton.
