Pioneer Oklahoma Woman Dies Here

Mrs. Lucretia Bailey, 78-year-old pioneer Oklahoma resident, died Tuesday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. O. V. Fields.

Mrs. Bailey was a native of Missouri, coming to Oklahoma for the Cherokee strip run.

Survivors in addition to Mrs. Fields include two other daughters and a son.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Harold Bailey Funeral Home.

Lucretia E. Bailey, age 78, passed away Tuesday. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p. m. from the Phoenix Avenue Baptist church, Rev. Foster officiating. Interment in Red Fork cemetery, directed by Harold Bailey Funeral Home. Surviving are: three daughters, Mrs. O. V. Fields, Tulsa; Mrs. E. L. Ranson, Rock Island, Ill., Miss Cora Adams, Oakland, Calif.; son, J. B. Adams, Oakland, Calif. Also 4 stepchildren.

Notes:
Parents are William Burnett Cook and Elizabeth Anderson.
1st husband - James C. Adams died between 1900 and 1904
2nd husband - Walter L. Pryor, divorced in 1906
3rd husband - Nimrod R. Bailey, predeceased her as well.

Children with James include, Cora Adams, Laura (Adams) Ranson, Sallie Cordelia "Cordia" (Adams) Field, and William F. Adams
