A native of Ozark County, Mr. Hobbs moved to Chadwick in 1918 and spent the past 11 years at Sparta. He was a member of the General Baptist Church. Four brothers, J. Z. Hobbs of Blackwater, Mo., Harrison Hobbs of Long Run, Mo, Tommy Hobbs of Sacramento, Calif. and Kelly Hobbs of Thayer, Mo.; sixteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
