Can a person's life really be summed up by a few words and dates on a cemetery gravestone?

No, it can't but I can.

Martin Richard Ackermann is my father. I won't say he "was" my father just because he has passed on. He will live forever in our hearts. As long as we are alive we will remember his good, honest, moral Christian life and the memories and life lessons that he handed down to his family.
