BUTLER VAN DYKE, 72, A NATIVE OF LOUISA CO., IS DEAD
Columbus Junction, Ia., Feb. 8--News has been received of the death of Butler Van Dyke, aged 72 years, native of Louisa county, in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Huddleston in Marion Tuesday. Mr. Van Dyke was born May 30, 1856 in Fredonia and was married Nov. 23, 1876 to Miss Mary Agnes Beliel, Washington, Iowa. He was for many years a conductor on the Rock Island and Milwaukee railroads. His widow, a son and two daughters survive.
