Edward W. Warner, 94, of RD2, Carlisle, died early this morning in the Carlisle Hospital.

He was born November 13, 1877 in Landisburg the son of the late Joseph and Beckie Garland Warner. He was a retired employe of the Borough of Carlisle and was a member of the Cumberland Fire Company.

He is survived by 4 sons, Edmund M., Carlisle; Chester A., Gardners; Melvin L., RD1 Shermans Dale and Lester M., RD2 Carlisle; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Coulson and Mrs. Alda Penner both of Carlisle; a sister, Mrs. Florence Bridge, Carlisle, 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Hoffman Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., with the Rev. Walter Winger officiating. Burial will be in Waggoner's Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
