ELIZABETH - Donald Ray Ballard, 59, died Sunday at Humana Hospital-University of Louisville.
He was a native of Metcalfe County, KY, a retired employee of Ford Truck Plant in Louisville, and a member of Bethesda United Methodist and Old Capitol Coon Hunters Club.
Survivors: his wife, the former Carolyn Sieboldt; two sons, Donald D. Ballard of Berea, KY, and John Ballard of Elizabeth; four daughters, LaVonda Ballard of Evansville, Roselyn Smith of Berea, KY, Teresa Agee of Richmond, KY, and Sallie Wernert of Elizabeth; two brothers, Kyle Ballard of Glasgow, KY, and Kenneth Ballard of Willow Shade, KY; four sisters, Ruby Hendershot of Chicago, IL, Helen Miller of Alexandria, KY, Alene Shoopman of Willow Shade, KY, and Jane Durrett of Summer Shade, KY; and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral: 2:00 pm Wednesday, Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home, Corydon. Burial: Bethesda Cemetery. Visitation after 11:00 am Tuesday.
