Mrs. Fred. E. Allen
Illness of Several Years Is Fatal To Memphian, 75
Mrs. Catherine Chrisinger Allen, wife of Fred E Allen, died at her residence on Weaver Road last night at 6 o'clock after an illness of several years. She was 75.
Mrs. Allen, a native of Illinois, was married to Mr. Allen 52 years ago and moved to Memphis about 12 years ago. She was a member of St. John Methodist Church in St, Louis, and was an honorary member of the Kate Trader Barrow Book Club here.
Besides her husband, she leaves two grandchildren, F.A. Weaver and Mrs. Harry E, Cobb and two Great Grand-children, all of Memphis. National Funeral Home has charge.
