RALPH D., 75, of 2316 4th st NW passed away at Mercy Hospital Friday after a short illness. Born in Sherrodsvile, O. Resident of Canton for 45 years. He was a retired roller with the Empire Steel of Mansfield, O. retiring 10 years ago. He operated the Herron's Confectionary for the last year at 4th. and Bedford. He was a life member of Newburgh Lodge No. 379 F&AM in Cleveland. He was on the roll of honor of the Greater Canton Old Timers Baseball Association. Survived by his wife, Lillie L. of the home; one stepson, William F. Duckworth of Columbus, O. two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn B. Hufler and Mrs. Grace M. Fetzer, both of Canton. Services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Formet & Clevenger Funeral Homer with Rev. John B. Barker officiating. Burial in Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
