Hazel V. Shoudt of Huntley
Visitation for Hazel V. Shoudt, 64, of Huntley, formerly of Riegelsville, Pa., will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. today, at the James A. O'Connor Funeral Home, 11603 E. Main St., Huntley. Funeral services will be held at the Robert W. Snyder Funeral Home in Riegelsville.
Born March 20, 1936, in Philadelphia, Pa., to Frank and Laura (nee Brown) Largent, she passed away Friday, Dec. 29, 2000, at Centegra Memorial Hospital in Woodstock. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Haycock Run, Pa. Hazel married Charles H. Shoudt on Jan. 22, 1955, in Haycock Run and the couple resided in Riegelsville for almost 25 years before moving to Huntley in 1993.
Surviving are her husband, Charles; children, JoAnn (Leonard) Peterson of Huntley, Michael (Wendy) Shoudt of Taylor, Ariz., Kevin (Kathy) Shoudt of Easton, Pa., and Chuck Shoudt of Huntley; and nine grandchildren. She is also survied by her sisters Florence King, Irene (Chick) Atkins, Ruth (Lee) Capps and Carol Linus; and brother Earle Largent.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Gary Shoudt in 1974; brothers John and Frank Largent; and sister Evelyn Carrigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to the family.
