Eva F. Webster was born 1905 to John & Hattie Webster in Camden County, Missouri. Her mother died when she was only 7 years old. Growing up, she attended school in the Lone Star district on the Dry Glaize Creek.

When she was 19 years old, Eva married Murl Enloe Brown on August 10, 1924. The couple had no children. During the last 50 years or so of their lives, they lived in Camdenton, Missouri where Murl had a barber shop on the courthouse square.

Eva suffered from a social anxiety phobia which caused her to be reclusive and avoid direct contact with people. Murl kept her informed of the community news through his daily contacts in his barber shop, and on weekends Eva enjoyed sitting in the car downtown near the square to watch people come and go to get their weekly shopping and selling done.

Eva was a member of Eastern Star Chapter No. 332 in Camdenton, Missouri, and her husband was a Shriner.
