Born in Cartwright, Texas in 1914, Nora LaVerne Browning, beloved "BeBe" to her family, went to be with the Lord on December 22, 2011.

In 1932, she married Ben Browning and they were devoted to each other until Ben's death in 1979.

Surviving members of BeBe's family include son, Charles and his wife Margo Browning and children Sarah and husband, Darren Thomas. Kyle and husband, Santiago Arana, Ben Browning, Catherine Jones, Brian and Philip Smith - daughter, Patricia and husband, Dick Matise, and their children Mark and wife, Fran Matise, and Melinda and husband, Mike Gilliam.

A member of Marvin United Methodist Church, BeBe enjoyed playing bridge and just being with friends.

Her passion in life was her unending love for her grandchildren and her 11 great grandchildren who can attest to her homemade sugar cookies as being the "best in the world." Surrounded in love, BeBe will remain in our hearts forever.

A graveside sevice will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Tyler Memorial Cemetery, 12053 State Highway 64 West, Tyler, Texas 75704.
