Marie Mack, 84, of Viola, died Saturday, May 11, 1991, at Mercer County Hospital in Aledo.

Services were 10.30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Catholic Church, Viola, the Rev. Ken Przybyla officiating.

Burial is in St. John's Cemetery, Viola. Pallbearers were, Tony, Jim and Francis Mack, Tom Conner, John Barra and Francis Mazza.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. John's Catholic Church. Jinks Funeral Home, Viola, was in charge of arrangements.

She was born Feb. 12, 1907, in Galesburg, the daughter of James and Emma Roettler Jordan. She graduated from Immaculate Conception Academy, Davenport, Ia. She married Bert Mack Aug. 24, 1927, in Viola.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. John's Catholic Church and it's Altar and Rosary Society.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mary Louise Conner of Canton and Jean A. Mack, Cincinnati, OH; two sons, Gerald P. Mack of Placerville, Ca and James E. Mack Wichita, Ks; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by Col. Thomas J. Mack in 1969.
