Mrs. A. Laura Weeter, 77, of 227 Gillilan Street, Rocky Grove, mother of E. Clyde Weeter, of this city, died in the Franklin Hospital early Wednesday morning (Sept. 3, 1952) She had been a patient there for one week.

Mrs. Weeter, widow of William M. Weeter, who preceded her in death in 1990, was born in Callensburg, Clarion County, February 28, 1875, a daughter of Francis J. and Rebecca Best Thompson.

She was a member of the Fox Street Church of God, Rocky Grove, and of the Women's Missionary society and Bible class of that church.

Surviving are three daughter and one son, Mrs. Ruth Shoup, South Heights; Mrs. Grace A. Allaman, Shippenville; Eva Weeter, Franklin; E. Clyde Weeter, Oil City; also 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and the following brothers; J.B. Thompson, Carlton, O; and D.C. Thompson, Youngstown, O,; B.F. Thompson, North East and J.L. Thompson, Knox; two sisters preceded her in death.

The body was removed to the Buchanan Funeral Home in Franklin
