53-year Resident Of Wichita Dies
Mrs. Bertha West, 78, of 135 S. Edwards, 53-year resident of Wichita, died Friday night at her home.
She came to Wichita from Springfield, Mo. She was born Aug. 5, 1879. Mrs. West was a member of First Assembly of God. She resided with her son, Woodson, and daughter, Miss V. West.
Other survivors include four other daughters, Mrs. Julia Salisbury, 809 McCormick, Mrs. Archie Sharp, 2116 S. Edgemoor Dr., Mrs. Mildred Samuel, 2040 S. Santa Fe, and Mrs. Fern Galloway, McAlester, Okla.; a sister, Mrs. C. A. Brown, 745 Hiram; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be announced by Downing Mortuary.
