Mr. Redus was born Sept. 16, 1921 in Douro, New Mexico. He moved to Maricopa in 1958, where he was employed as a farm laborer on the Daley and Bogle farms.
Prior to moving to Maricopa, he worked as a city maintenance man for the city of Vaughn, NM. He was a veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his wife, Buena; his sons: William, serving with the U.S. Coast Guard, Darwood and Unie, both of Maricopa; his sister, Mrs. Pauline Young; and his brothers: Arthur, Chester, Homer, Elmer and Raymond, all from out of state.
Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
