EASLEY - Funeral services for Henry Franklin Albertson, 80, of Rt. 1, Easley, Pope Field Road, who died Sunday, will be conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Flat Rock Baptist Church by the Rev. E. G. Robertson, the Rev. John Revis, the Rev. Ernest Roach and the Rev. Marion T. Hudgens. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was a son of the late William Rufus and Sissie Lycenia Crowe Albertson, and was a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church. He spent most of his life in Pickens and Anderson counties. His first wife was the late Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Crowe Albertson.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ruby Bishop Albertson; 11 sons, Judge and Jimmy Albertson of the home, Frank, Ray, Colonel, Wylie, Dan, Harold, Jerry and Ozell Albertson of Rt. 2, Marietta; seven daughters, Mrs. Dolar Holder, Mrs. Tom (Bernice) Gilstrap, Mrs. Carl (Sue) Whitman of Easley, Mrs. Rosa Lee James and and Mrs. J. D. (Ellie) Clardy of Liberty and Miss Della Albertson of the home and Mrs. Frances Norwood of Tampa, Fla.; a brother, Joe Albertson of Liberty; 35 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons; James and Weldon Albertson, Rupert and James Henry Gilstrap and Wallace and David Clardy.
The body is at the home and will be placed in the Church Tuesday at 2 p.m. Robinson Funeral Home is in charge.
