Mrs. W.O. Long died at her home in Pomeroy, August 17th...Margaret Rebeka Hand was born June 30, 1865 near Canton, Illinois. She moved with her parents to the state of Kansis in 1865 and to Washington in 1884. When she was seventeen years of age she was married to I.E. Stringer. To this union was born three children, two boys, and one girl. The boys have already passed away. In the year 1890 she was marrried to William Oscar Long, to this union were given three daughters and one son, all of whom are living today. At fourteen, the United Brethern Church, and in later years, the Baptist church,,, She leaves to mourn her going four sisters; Mrs E.F. Milner, and Mrs. J.S. Denison of Pomeroy, Mrs C.E. Potter of East Helena, Montana, and Mrs. M.D. Spencer of Hume, Missouri; two brothers, Charles and M.A. Hand of Pomeroy..
