Leila (Aggen) Hipke, 801 Elm Street, Little Chute, age 64, formerly of New Holstein, died Thursday evening, August 15, 1996, peacefully at her home after being diagnosed with cancer.
She was born October 7, 1931, in New Holstein, daughter of the late Henry and Minerva (Guetzloe) Aggen. Leila was a 1949 graduate of New Holstein High School. On September 17, 1949, she married A.R. "Dick" Hipke. Leila worked as a teachers aid for a number of years at New Holstein High School. Leila enjoyed pending time with her grandchildren, enjoyed music and shopping with the girls. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, New Holstein.
Survivors include three children, Dana Hipke and special friend, Lora Stange, Little Chute; Thomas (Susan) Hipke, Ballart Australia; Paula (Michael) Libbin, Oshkosh; four grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Lucille Aggen, New Holstein; Myra Aggen, Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
She is surther survived by numerous nieces, Nephews and several close friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley "Buck" Aggen and Chester "Chet" Aggen.
