Adela Heiner Sheboygan Press December 10, 1963

Mrs. Robert Heiner, 66, of 2211 Prospect St., New Holstein, died at her home Monday following a long illness.

The former Adela Arps, she was born at New Holstein May 23, 1897, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John K. Arps, and was married at Waco, Texas, Dec. 13, 1917, to Robert Heiner. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, sang in the church choir for many years, was a member of the Women's Guild of the church, a past matron of the Order of Eastern Star and a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Harold and Harvey, both of New Holstein; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and a brother, E. J. Arps, Oshkosh. A son, Robert Jr., was killed in France in 1944 and a daughter, Mrs. Elmer (Grace) Vogds, died in 1954.

Funeral services will be held at St. John's UCC with the Rev. Charles A. Koch, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in New Holstein City Cemetery.
