New Holstein—Funeral services for Mrs. Charles Hansen, nee Adolphine Greese, who passed away Wednesday following an apoplectic stroke, will be held at the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral home and at St. John's Evangelical and Reformed church . The Rev. A. G. Schmid will officiate and burial will be made in the city cemetery.
Mrs. Hansen was born May 16, 1863, in the town of New Holstein, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Greese. On November 5, 1886, she was married to Charles Hansen at the Reformed church and they lived on a farm in the town of New Holstein for twenty-three years. The farm was taken over by their son, Walter, and in 1910 they moved here to the residence on Wisconsin. Avenue. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last year.
Survivors are the husband, one son, Walter, and a daughter, Mrs. Edward Aggen, six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mrs. Hansen was a faithful member of the St. John Evangelical and Reformed church.
