The Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Friday, Nov. 12, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Arroyo Grande.
Magdalene was the devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother of her family. She was the light and love of her husband, Rudy. They were inseparable for 65 years.
Magdalene will be remembered for always putting her family first. She spoiled her grandchildren with homemade cinnamon rolls, Christmas cookies and chocolate pudding pie. The centerpiece of her home was the kitchen table, where the family gathered for the comfort of her homemade meals and lingered for the spirited after-dinner discussions.
Magdalene is survived by her sister, Theodora, of Santa Clara; son, Rudy and wife Marguerite of Sedona, Ariz., and their children, Patricia, Jim and Kent; son, Dennis of Arroyo Grande and his children, Laura and Christopher; daughter, Diane Hultquist and husband Steve of Arroyo Grande and their children, Brent and Cherilyn; daughter, Lynn Moore and husband Dave of Moscow, Russia, and their children, John and Tamara; daughter, Jeanine Gore and husband Phillip of Moorpark; daughter, Sherrie Curtis and husband Scott of Martinez and their children, Kyle and Chelsea; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Rudy; brother, Krist; and sister, Therianne.
