Robert Tryon Drummond was born 16 Dec 1920 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, USA, and he died 25 Apr 1990 in Ft Wayne, Allen, Indiana, USA. On 02 Aug 1947, he married Grace Martha Alexander in Lancaster, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA, and the couple had two children: Alexander L Drummond (b. 16 May 1954) and Laura Posey Drummond (b. 07 Nov 1955).

Robert, an Army veteran of WW II, was a music teacher and a golf coach at the South Side High School for 37 years, finally retiring in 1982. In his music career, he was respected as a music director and as a music producer for many local productions. He was a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church and the Allen County Genealogical Society, as well as other area service groups.

Robert is buried in the Highland Park Cemetery next to his wife, Grace Martha Alexander Drummond.
