Mae was the daughter of Theodore F. and Mary Bicknell Strain.

She married Benjamin Edgar Strain on November 6, 1904.

Mother of Levi Laurens, Mary Maxine, Eva Lucile and Theodore Gail Strain.

OBITUARY:

Mrs. Mae Strain, 80, Dies at Terre Haute

Mrs. Mae Strain, 80, formerly of Fairbanks, died at the home of her twin sister, Mrs. Maude Thompson at Terre Haute at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

She is survived by a son, Ted, of Fairbanks; two daughters, Mrs. Maxine Riggs and Mrs. Lucille Carrithers, both of Fairbanks; two sisters, Mrs Thompson and Mrs. Flossie Dickerson, of Kansas; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Another son, Laurens, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Strain was a member of Kingsley Memorial Church and Fairbanks O. E. S.

Services will be held at the DeBaun Funeral Home at Prairie Creek Friday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Pogue Cemetery.

Friends may call after noon Thursday.
