OBITUARY: San Antonio Express News May 25, 1952 CHARLES RITTIMANN
Charles Rittimann, 87, of Kirby, died at a hospital here Saturday afternoon. Funeral services will be held in the Riebe Chapel 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. John Winters officiating. Interment will be in the Salado Cemetery. Rittimann was a native of Guadalupe County and had lived in Kirby 46 years. He was a retired farmer. Relatives include sons, Charles J. Rittimann, San Antonio, Theo Rittimann, Converse; daughters, Mrs. Mary Hild and Frieda Stehling, both of San Antonio, Mrs. Ella Eisenhauer of Converse; sisters, Mrs. Anna Ackermann, Mrs. Ida Butler both of San Antonio, and Mrs. Lena Sontag, Converse; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
