Visitation will be today at Southern Funeral Home in Lexington from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at the First United Methodist Church in Lexington at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Mrs. King was born to Tallulah (Lipscomb) and Benjamin Stigler Beall, Jr. of Holmes County. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lexington.
She is survived by daughters, Betty Forbes of Wilmette, IL, Sarah Kerr of Flagler Beach, FL and Tallulah Bryant of Columbus, MS; brother, Benjamin Stigler Beall, III of Easton, MD; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Colonel Isaac Read King, Jr.
