William Whitten "Whit" Huffman

William Whitten "Whit" Huffman, 86, of Winona died of heart failure Saturday, April 11, 1998 at Montfort Jones Hospital in Kosciusko.

Mr. Huffman, a Weir native, was a retired machinist at Patridge Lumber Company. He was a member of Bear Creek Baptist Church, a member of American Legion and VFW Herring Post. He served in World War II Eighth Air Force European Theater of Operations.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 13, at Lee Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Walker officiating. Burial was in Weir Cemetery.

Mr. Huffman is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sue Bond Huffman of Winona and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Wiley Prewitt, Stells Minyard, Glenn Bond, Graham Golden, Jimmy Irving and Dan Melton.

Lee Funeral Home in Winona was in charge of arrangements.
