He was born in Tallapoosa County, Ala., and had lived in Texas.
He had been a member of the Methodist Church 16 years. His pastor, Rev. Denson Franklin, assisted by Rev. T. R. McKibbens and Dr. R. B. Lavender, was in charge of the funeral service, held at Quattlebaums Funeral Home Wednesday morning at eleven o'clock. Interment was in the city cemetery.
Mr. Lindsey is survived by his widow, the former Vernie Dunson; two sons, Lt. Commander Rollin Lindsey, of Norfolk, Va., and W. B. Lindsey, of Arlington, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. W. O. Evans, of Wichita Falls, Texas; and three grandchildren.
