He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Ethel Cox Bonner, a son, Henry Jr., and a daughter, Rosemary, all of Roanoke; two brothers: Robert Bonner, of Montgomery, and Hubert Bonner, of Roanoke.
Mr. Bonner was a veteran of overseas service in the U. S. Navy during World War II.
Funeral services were held from the First Baptist Church at 2:30 p. m. on Sunday, March 27, with the Rev. T. R. McKibbens officiating. Interment was in the city cemetery, with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge.
Active pallbearers were Gus McMurray, Wesley Schuessler, Bill Radney, J. P. Phillips, Bill Henry, and William Belcher.
