This is confirmed by a Washtenaw County, Michigan History, dated 1881, published in Chicago by Chas C Chapman & Co. Here's the relevant section: p. 663 "He" (Joseph Pray) "was married July 4, 1849 to Elizabeth Finton, who was born at Romulus, Seneca Co., NY. " From my research, I have concluded that Elizabeth was a daughter of Asa S and Harriet Watrous Finton of Salem Twp., Washtenaw Co., Michigan.
