On May 8, 1940, she married Abraham Jensen in Logan, Utah. Abraham was the son of Anne Marie Madsen and Andrew Jensen. He was previously married to Arletta Sophia Peterson, who died in 1937.
Ida was a Visiting Teacher for many years and worked as a Temple Missionary at the Logan Temple.
They made their home in Hyrum where they farmed and raised chickens. They always had beautiful vegetable and flower gardens.
Abraham died March 15, 1955; and a year later, Ida bought her girlhood home and moved back to Millville where she lived until her death.
They had no children.
