Cletus C. Rothove of Truesdale died Feb. 18, at the age of 76.

He was born to Bernard and Annie (nee Olischleger) Rothove in Westphalia, on Feb. 19, 1912

Rothove was married to Adel (nee Bruno) Rothove in 1931. To this union were born four children. He later married Alice (nee Kapoulis) Rothove in 1964. She preceded him in death in 1985. He was also preceded by one son, Ben in 1988, and a brother , Leo in 1977.

He is survived by three daughters, Ann Marie Silvus of St. Louis, Betty Theresa Schwegler of Warrenton, and Jeanette Shutz of St. Louis; two step-daughters, Marie Bono of St. Louis, and Louise Schnatzmeyer of St. Louis; one step-son Lawrence Kapoulis of O'Fallon; two sisters, Leona Bulkley of Warrenton and Loraine Rowe of St. Peters; seven grandchildren, three step grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Feb. 20 at 10:30 a.m. in the Nieburg Martin Chapel with Father John Dempsey officiating.

Burial was in the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Nieburg-Martin Funeral Home of Warrenton.
