Daughter of James Spencer Reynolds and Caroline Charity Wood Reynolds.

Rosa first married Pleasant M. Brown, May 7, 1913. Pleasant died of tuberculosis at the age of 21 (1915). They had two children, Johnnie and Lorene. Both died as infants.

She then married Monroe McDaniel, Dec. 20, 1917.
