Russian Count, believed to be an illegitimate descendant of Catherine the Great. He studied in Oxford. Emigrated to England after the Russian revolution of 1917. Belonged to Masons. Married three times: 1st wife – they married in St Petersburg 1915, Countess Natalia Fersen (born Paris 1890, died Paris 1935); 2nd wife – they married in Paris 1940, Olga Kosolup-Pchenitchny (born Kharkov 1896 - died London 1961); 3rd time - Olga de Bertren. Children:
Maria (1917, married Bavi), Lev (1918, Kislovodsk), Natalia, Pavel (1923, Baden-Baden), Boris (1925, Priest in Paris).

Funeral service at The Russian Church in Exile, Emperor Gate, S.W.7, on Wednesday, February 10th, at 11.00 a.m. Memorial service on Sunday, February 14th, at 1.00 p.m., at The Russian Church in Exile. Daughter Maria, born in 1917, came to America after her mothers death. She went to nursing school and then flight attendant school. She married Edward Davis (not Bavi) She had a daughter Natalia in Arizona (deceased), and a son Minot in Washington. Minot is a close friend of mine. He lives in Newport , RI. According to him, Maria was put in an institution by her husband. Minot never had children. His deceased sister has one son.
