He was born January 25, 1919, in Watseka, Ill., the son of the late Albert S. and L. Louise (Osterman) Brady. On October 17, 1943, he married Naomi L. (Reese) Brady, who survives in Van Wert.

Four brothers and two sisters also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, June 29, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Tim Burden officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, with graveside military rites performed by the combined honors units of American Legion Post 178 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803, both of Van Wert.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 28, at the funeral home, where Masonic and 40 et 8 services will be held that evening.
