Nina Iolene Kinworthy 75, of Troy, MO passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2008 at Lincoln County Nursing and Rehab in Troy. She was born December 5, 1932 in Greenly, Missouri to Alfred and Leata (Wisdom) Gant. She grew up there and attended the local schools along with her siblings: Hershel, Doshia Olive and Wanna. At 17 years old she married her sweetheart, Donald Eugene Kinworthy. They were blessed with three children: Brenda, Tricia, and Rick. Nina enjoyed caring for her husband and children. For many years Nina worked in real estate and retail sales. Her first priority was always her family. Nina and Donald had a beautiful flower garden which they both cared for. Several years ago they moved to Troy, so they could be closer to their children and grandchildren. Once here they joined the First Christian Church of Troy. Nina and Donald really enjoyed helping at the church and this provided them much joy. Surviving are her loving family: her daughters: Brenda Monse and husband Bill of Troy, Tricia and Roger Stagner of Mississippi, her son Rick Kinworthy and his wife Lynn of Hawk Point, grandchildren: Erik Stagner (Amanda) of Mississippi, Jason Stagner (Misty) of IL, Jeremy Stagner (Kaci) of Il, Joseph Kinworthy (Andrea) of Il., Stephanie (Matthew) Kersting and Bethanie (David) Williamson o; Nine great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband, her parents, her grandson Ricky Kinworthy in 1981 and her brother Hershel Gant, three sisters, Doshia Bloom, Olive Medley, and Wanna Doyle.
Funeral services are pending at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home, Troy. Officiating Revs. Steve and Donna Doan. There will be private interment services at National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, and MO. Visitation at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1304 Boone St., Troy, Mo. 98379. Memorials may be made to the donor's choic
