LIFE STORY OF MRS. TILLIE HANDY, 86

Nancy Matilda Handy was born Oct 2, 1874 in Tama County Iowa, daughter of William Porter and Martha Babb Kellogg and died January 8, 1961 in Ottumwa at the age of 86 years, 3 months, and 6 days.

She was married to Joseph A. Handy, April 4, 1901 and four children were born to this union.

Mrs. Handy had been a member of the Methodist Church since girlhood.

Surviving are three children Wm. J. of Harlan, Mrs B. H. (Alma) Cox of Ottumwa, and Mrs. E Donald (Edna Mae) Billmeyer of Baltimore, Maryland; 3 step grandchildren; 6 great grand-children; and one brother, Geo. Kellogg of Williams, California.

Services were held Jan. 12, 1961 at the Pauley funeral Home with Rev. Roy W. Pfaff officiating. Pallbearers were Con Blakely, Elmer Potter, Floyd Fiscus, Virgil Wiley, Rex Sorenson, and Russell Sorenson. Burial was in the Harlan cemetery.
