Funeral services for Ethelbert Fairfax, seventy-seven years old, of 1768 Church Street, Northwest Washington, a member of the Fairfax family of colonial fame in the development of Virginia, were held yesterday afternoon at the family home. Internment was in the St. Paul's Cemetery, this city.
Mr. Faifax, who had been connected with the Southern Railway, was the son of Dr. Orlando and Mary Randolph Cary Fairfax, of Alexandria. He was a veteran of the Civil War and a member of the LaFayette Lodge, A.F. and A.M. of Washington. He was a bachelor and is survived by several nieces and nephews. Alexandria Gazette, Nov. 1, 11922.
