FUNERAL SERVICES TODAY FOR JOSEPH BALDWIN

Funeral services for Joseph Baldwin, 86, retired farmer, Symco, will be held 2 p.m. today, Thursday, at the Methodist Church, in Manawa, by the Rev. Margaret Wilkinsen, of Iola. Interment will be in Symco Cemetery. Friends may call at Booth Funeral Home until noon today and then at the church from 1 p.m., to time of services.

Mr. Baldwin, died 6:05 p.m., Monday, April 5th, at Community Hospital, New London, following an illness of one week.

He was born May 9, 1878, in the Town of Union, and has been a resident of Symco, the past 50 years.

Survivors are his wife, Martha; 5 sons, Elton [Alton], Minneapolis, Minn., Evan and Kenneth, Milwaukee; James, Vanderburg AFB, California, and Glenn, K.O. AFB, Sawyer, Michigan.

Three daughters, Ethel, Mrs. Louis Paukner, Waukegan, Illinois, Norma, Mrs. Alvin Schneiderwendt, Ontario, California, Gloria, Mrs. Raymond Brede, Green Bay; two brothers, Homer, Waupaca, Willard, Symco; one sister, Alice Caldwell, Columbia Station, Ohio; 19 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
