OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)

Claude S. Carr, 76, a farmer and lifelong resident of Wabash county, died Wednesday morning at 6:30 o'clock in his home on State Road 15 due to an illness of a year.

The body will be taken to the family residence Thursday and friends may call there Thursday afternoon and evening. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock Central Standard Time, in the Hoover-Miner Funeral home. The Rev. Joseph L. Gift will officiate and #burial will be in Falls cemetery.

Survivors of Claude S. Carr, who died Wednesday morning include the widow, Sarah (Tomson) Carr, two children, Elbert Carr, Wabash R.R. 1 and Mrs. Josephine Sullivan, Macy RR 1, and five grandchildren. Three sisters, Mrs. Maude Sholty, Alma, Mich., Mrs. Audrey Tomson, Wabash R.R. 1, and Mrs. Emma Carr, Logansport, also survive.

Mr. Carr was born in Wabash county Aug 16, 1876, the son of David and Sarah (Stone) Carr. He was married on Aug. 27, 1902, in Wabash to Sarah Blanche Tomson. He was a member of the Bachelor Creek Christian church.
