Isaac Coffin, son of Simeon Jr. and Mary (Shaw) Coffin was born 22 July 1812 at Thorndike, Waldo County, Maine.

Isaac married Susan Evans, 08 March 1840 at Jackson, Waldo County, Maine.

One child was born from this union:
1. Mary (Coffin) White (1842-1917)

NOTE: There were two other spouses attached to Isaac's memorial when I inherited it which I have detached for the following reasons:

1. Susan Unknown who died 09 March 1846: I cannot find anything on this Susan. If she was married to Isaac they were not married very long as he married Susan Evans 08 March 1840. This Susan was buried in another cemetery.

2. Eleanor Unknown who died 25 May 1888; I believe this Eleanor is actually Isaac's sister, not a spouse. Other sources I have found states that Eleanor (Isaac's sister) died in 1888. In the 1880 Census it shows Isaac to be living in household as single and Eleanor living in same household and listed as his daughter. She could not be his daughter because of the age.

I will continue to research. If I find these two women to be Isaac's spouses I will re-attach them.
