Christine, of Orange, passed away Saturday in Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston.
Christine was the daughter of Vertis Berwick and Mae (Davis) Berwick. She attended North Orange Baptist Church and Bear Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Homer Merrell; sister, Sue Pierce; and brother, Bubba Berwick.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda Kay Wise and her husband Fred, Joan Duncan and her husband Kenny; grandchildren, Sarah Wise, Matt Wise, Kensey Duncan; great-grandchild, Toby Allen Wise; sisters, Jean Govan, Barbara Gillis and brother, Al Berwick.
