Armorel was the daughter of Andrew Hood and Rachael Richards. She married Arthur Herbert Wells on 21 April 1920 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
The family moved from Carbon County, Utah to Oakland, Alameda, California in 1928 where their son Carl was born. Arthur and Armorel stayed in Alameda County where they both died, but their bodies were returned to Utah to be buried in Provo. Some of their children moved to Oregon or Washington state.
