Catherine A. Smith
Catherine A. Smith, 95, a summer resident of Fayetteville, died Friday, in San Francisco, Calif. She was a permanent resident of San Francisco.
Mrs. Smith served in the U.S. Navy in World War I and was a member of the Dolly Madison Post of the American Legion. She was an artist and interior decorator, and formerly headed the decoration department of Bloomingdales, in New York City.
She is survived by a daughter, Helene C. Marchant of San Francisco, and two sons, Todd A. of Red Bank, NJ, and Elliott P. of Wilmington, Del.; six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Fayetteville Cememtery, with the Rev. C. Phillip Courtney officiating. Friends may gather at the gravesite just before the service.
Eaton-Tubbs-Schepp Funeral Home. Fayetteville, has charge of arrangements.
