Michael Thomas Sagle, 47, of Liverpool died Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at home.

He was born Jan. 6, 1957 in Harrisburg to George W. and Helen E. Myers Sagle of Liverpool.

He was employed by Alexander Constructors for several years at Harrisburg, where he was a superintendent, and had worked for other contractors in the area; a 1974 graduate of Greenwood High School, Millerstown; an Air Force veteran; a member of Jacobs United Methodist Church, Halifax, where he had served as a trustee, Liverpool Volunteer Fire Company and American Legion Post 945, Wormleysburg; and enjoyed the outdoors, golfing, traveling and watching sporting events.

In addition to his parents, surviving are his wife of 17 years, Sally A. Kerchner Sagle; a stepdaughter, Tammy Sue Taylor of Bay Village, Ohio; a brother, Timothy B. of Liverpool; three sisters, Cathy A. Foose of Liverpool and Vicki M. Anderson and Betsy J. Byers, both of Millerstown; and five stepgrandchildren, Michael Jr., Christopher, Zachary, Andrew and Emily Taylor.

He was preceded in death by a brother, William M., who died in 1977.

Services were held July 31 in Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, with pastor Debra Koretzky officiating. Burial, with military honors by the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard, was in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.
