Joseph L. Daily, 65; Army veteran
Funeral services for Joseph L. Daily, 65, of Henryville, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at R.D. Pyke Funeral Home, Henryville, with burial in Silver Creek Cemetery. He died Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at his residence.
He was born March 13, 1943 in Sellersburg, and worked as a mechanic for Industrial Disposal before retirement. He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his daughter, Elizabeth O'Rafferty and her husband, Butch, Westpoint, Ky.; stepmother, Ruth Narron, Gallup, N.M.; sisters, Pee Wee Marks, Cookie Viegglas and Peggy Lewis, all of New Mexico; brothers, Donald and Wiley Daily, both of New Mexico; and grandchildren, Dustin, Amanda, Amber, Eddie and John.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Daily; his loving wife, and two sons.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 25, and from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the family in care of the funeral home.
