He was born September 28, 1932 in Yuma. Ray worked for 35 years as a salesman for Arizona Distributors/McKesson. He was a past president of the Yuma Bowling Association and past Eagle member. Ray also served honorably in the U.S. Air Force. He was proud to be a member of Yuma High Class of '51.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Billie Olea of Yuma; daughters, Denise Gloria of Yuma, Brenda Gloria of Phoenix, Arizona, Sandy Montalvo of El Centro, California, Michel Eilers (Tom), of Yuma; his mother, Josephine Olea; brothers, Albert 'DeeDee' Olea (Mary), and Robert Olea; sisters, Theresa Salas (Daniel) and Pat Burrell (Rocky); 11 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ray was preceded in death by his father, Edward Olea.
Visitation will be at Johnson Mortuary Tuesday, May 6, 2003, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with memorial following immediately. Private cremation will take place Wednesday morning.
