OBITUARY
Thomas Henry Cavinder, son of
Samuel and Elizabeth Cavinder was
born in Auglaize County, Ohio, Decem-
ber 10th, 1847; departed this life No-
vember 25th, 1917, aged 69 years, 11
months and 15 days. Was married to
Miss Zura Kennedy in 1866. To this
union ten children were born, six sons
and four daughters, Wm L., residing
near Jackson Center, Shelby County;
Robert, who died in infancy; Earnest
F., of Lakeview, Logan County; Job
H., of Anna Station, Shelby County;
Otto, residing near Haviland; Grover
C., Jackson Center, Shelby County;
Carrie, who died at the age of two
years, Bertha E. Carpenter, Lake
view, Logan County; Mary Angulia
Childs, who departed this life at the
age of twenty-four years; Jennie P.
line, of Haviland. His wife died
eighteen years ago at the age of
fifty years. He leaves to mourn his
death 7 children, 25 grand children
and 29 great -- grand -- children, to-
gether with many friends in Paulding
and Logan Counties, where he resided
until four years ago. He was a mem-
ber of the Seventh Day Advent Bap-
tist church of Jackson Center. A good
neighbor and a kind father.
